Bettina Barty was founded as a cosmetics brand in Frankfurt am Main in 1961. From the outset, the brand focused on decorative cosmetics and body care products. Bettina Barty's aim from the beginning was to offer high-quality yet affordable care products for everyday use.
In 1968, the brand was acquired by STRAUB MARBERT , a family-run cosmetics company based in Wertheim am Main. The company focuses on the development and production of its own branded products as well as private label products for drugstores and discount retailers.
Bettina Barty achieved international fame with the successful relaunch of the MUSK line in 1988. The MUSK series is the epitome of unisex – powerful, seductive, and yet subtle. This timeless fragrance adapts perfectly to any occasion and any style.
Just one year after the launch of the MUSK fragrance line, VANILLA was introduced as an additional line. The VANILLA series quickly became a sales success and contributed significantly to the success of the Bettina Barty brand.
